  1.  What kinds of affordable clean energy sources shown in the pictures below are used in your country?

  • Wind Onshore
  • Solar PV Plant
  • Res, Roof PV System
  • Wind Offshore
  • Renewable energy

How effective are these kinds of energy sources if used in your country?

These energy sources are effective, some sources are more effective than the other ones.
We are going to name one of them and how effective this one is.

Renewable energy ;

The world's natural gas, coal and oil are diminishing. This is why nowadays there is more focus on generating energy from renewable sources. Examples are solar energy, wind energy, water power, biomass and CO2 neutral gas. The Dutch government has set the following goals:

  • 30% less greenhouse gass emmissions by 2020 compared to 1990
  • 20% of total energy supply should be generated by renewable energy sources
  • More support for consumers who wish to save on energy, by granting subsidies for solar panels, solar boilers, insulation.

What plans are in place to promote and increase the use of affordable clean energy usage in your country?

We have solar panels in the Netherlands or Holland. The solar panels promote the clean energy for some people it isn’t affordable. When people want solar panels the most off them go the the community because then can be insured.

The most populair energy company is; Nuon in the Neterlands.

Assignment 2;

Create an Energy Saving Guide which shows how easy it is to cut your energy use in one or more of the following places: your home, on the road, at your school or in a local business.

Home; You don’t have to load every night your phone. You can at least try to load your phone one time a day.

The Road; What can you do on the road? You don’t have to ride you can take a bike , you can walk or you can take the bus. Walking or going with the bike is the best the bus can but it isn’t the most energy saving thing what there is.

School; Don’t use the tv as much you can use the board or just use paper.

Local business; Much people can use paper and not their phones so that’s how you spare energy.

Assignment 3;

For this assignment we did the experiment stop wasting energy.

These are the benefits about this experiment.

Benefits:

  • We don't waist anymore water or energy
  • The battery of your laptop last longer so you don't have to load it
  • If you keep your window closed, you keep the hot air inside so you don't have to turn on the heating
  • it's cheaper

These are the differences of what we do normal and what we did by the experiment:

  • Normally we load our laptop even if the battery isn’t empty.
  • Normally we open our window for some fresh air.
  • At the experiment we only loaded our laptop when the battery was actually empty.
  • At the experiment we didn’t open our window so we don’t had to turn on the heating.

Conclusion: it’s cheaper but it takes a little more effort. So if you want to save some money this is definitely a good way!

Opdracht 1

In our country do we have:

  1.
  2. Com/Gov Roof PV system
  3. Solar PV plant
  4. CSP Plant
  5. Wind Onshore
  6. Wind Offshore
  7. Tidle Turbine

Our government wanted to make wind farms on land and sea. Unfortunately, there were counterarguments.

Opdracht 2:

How to save energy:

Don’t forget to turn the lights off when you go.

Opdracht 3

A wind ofshore with solar pc plant on top of it.

Assignment 1

Wave divise, wind onshore, solar pv plant,

Wind onshore: used 2200 times ; for 473000 houses\
in the next decade there will be 50.000 more

Wave divise: used 19 times ; 300 houses
in the next decade there will be 35 more

Solar pv plant: used 400.000 times ; for 400.000 houses
in the next decade there will be 200.000 more

Assignment 2

to save energy well it is useful to close the doors, because a lot of heat and therefore energy is lost. It is also smart to turn down the thermostat and put on a sweater. to really be good for the environment it is better to drive in an electric car, because it gives no exhaust gases and is therefore not harmful. LED lighting is also very good for the environment, it costs more but lasts longer and you save it with a lot of precious energy. if you have the plug from the socket takes you lose no energy because you join loses energy even when not on the device

Assignment 3

we do the lights one day also we use anything with an electrical outlet. and we'll see how much we save. We do not use any renewable source, but we do not consume energy. We use no energy so no fossil fire hit. We use candles for light. Candles are cheaper supply heat and light is long and you get a lot of light there

Pros

cons

It is very coasy

You need a lot of candles

You save energy

They can raak op

You can put the oven lower

You have to go to the Shop For new ones

Assignment 1 - Research and report.
Affordable clean energy - How is it used?

Made by: Lynn, Vera and Alison.

the affordable clean energy that we use in our coutry are: solar pv plant, windonshore and roof pv system.

The solar pv plant: it’s not really effective because there isn’t a lot of shunsine in our country (20%)of the 140,000 km of road in Holland could be used to harvest solar energy

Wind Onshore:Wind power in the Netherlands reached an installed capacity of 3,431 MW by year end 2015, 427 MW of which were based offshore.[1] The 2,174 turbines sited in Holland by the end of 2015 provided the country with 5.6% of its electricity demand during the year, a figure that is growing but somewhat below the average of 11.4% that wind power provides across the whole of the EU’s electricity consumption.[2] 2015 was a record year for new installations in Holland with 586 MW added of which 180 MW were offshore.[1] 3.431 mw

Roof pv system: it’s almost the same as the solar pv plant we don’t have a lot of shunsine in our country so it’s not really effective.

Assignment 2 Create your Energy Saving Guide.

When your at home you can safe some energy by not using your phone to much because if you use your phone a lot you need to charging your phone also a lot

When your on a road you can safe some energy by not using your car but grab your bike

Assignment 3

Make Your Own Saving Energy Experiment

Energy out orange

First you cut your orange and after that you put a nail and a tin in your orange after that you grab a power meter and then you put theme on the nail and the tin than you can see how much energy one orange shows.

When you put a lot of oranges together you have a lot of energy.

It’s quite expensive to buy the oranges.
